Women's Cycling: Meet the Pros 

OCTOBER 11, 2012 - NEW YORK, NY - Bicycle Habitat welcomed the pros from Specialized-lululemon cycling team for an evening to celebrate the leaders in women's cycling. In addition to the guest panel, the evening honored the contributions of local women advancing cycling in the NYC community, including NYC DOT Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan, who took the opportunity to announce the first ever bike share race, at Citibike in March 2013.

Hundreds of New Yorkers Enjoy the First Annual Outdoor Adventure Day 

OCTOBER 6, 2012 - CUNNINGHAM PARK, NY - Bicycle Habitat and Trips for Kids NY hosted a day of outdoor recreation and mountain biking in New York City for the first annual "Outdoor Adventure Day" in Cunningham Park, Queens.

Hundreds of New York cyclists and families enjoyed free demo bikes from Trek Bikes, bike clinics, and kids outings, as well as opportunities to connect with local groups such as NYCMTB, Brooklyn Boulders, CLIMB and IMBA.

Meet Gary Fisher: The Past, Present and Future of Cycling

Bicycle Habitat Hosts Dmitry Gudkov Bike Portraits During Summer Streets

AUGUST 13 - NEW YORK, NY - Every New Yorker enjoys the ability to bike the streets uninterrupted during New York's annual Summer Streets program. This year, Bicycle Habitat again hosted the amazing Dmitry Gudkov of Gudkov Photography for free cycling portraits, sponsored by Globe Bikes.
