TA CENTURY RIDERS! On this page we are accepting reservations to rent an aluminum Hybrid bike for the 2025 TA century.

Enjoy the only all- urban, (up to) 100-mile bike tour in the United States of America. See New York City, the greatest city in the world, the way it was meant to be seen; BY BIKE!

The hybrid fitness bike rented will be a Trek FX1 or equivalent, with 700c wheels and flat handlebars. The rental includes a bike helmet if needed. All other potential accessories need to be brought by the customer or bought at the shop,.


Important notes:

We will be taking a deposit when you come in to the store to collect the bike to ensure the bike is returned after the ride.

Bikes will be ready for pickup in-store between September 17th through the 20th, unless other arrangements are made. Please return all rentals to the store by the day after the ride. Stock is limited - reserve early. Due to high demand, all event rentals are non-refundable. The bike's specific model is given as a general guideline and not a guarantee for exactly which bike you will receive. You will get an email reminder one week before the event to confirm the details of the pick-up and drop-off.

We want you to have a great ride! Please obey the rules of the road, and be courteous to your fellow riders. Riders are responsible for any damage or theft to rental bikes.

3. What bikes are available and what are the prices? Do I need to pay a deposit?

We rent aluminum Hybrids (Trek FX pr equivalent) for $100, Aluminum Road bikes for $160, and Carbon-Fiber Road Bikes for $300. We do take a deposit - Hybrid deposit is $400, Aluminum road is $1000, Carbon road is $2200--when you come to pick up the bike.

4. When I finish the ride where can I drop the bikes off?

You can return the bike to any of our 3 locations, but if you're able to return it to the location you picked up from will make returning your deposit easiest! They're due back by the end of the day Monday, September 22, 2025.

5. Why wouldn't I get my deposit back?

The number one reason you wouldn’t get your deposit back is if you fail to return the bike, or if you return it with significant damage.

6. What do I need to wear for the ride?

A helmet is a must! We do provide helmets if needed. We also recommend using padded bike shorts or athletic shorts. Also, any athletic shirt will do, but we hear the 2025 TA Century jersey will be super cool! Sunglasses, hydration, and a bag for snacks/essentials are great to have - we have plenty of options for purchase.

7. Do I need to bring pedals?

If you'd like to ride a clipless system, you must either bring your own pedals and shoes, or purchase a system from us. We provide basic platform pedals. We do not rent clipless pedals and shoes.

8. How do I know what Size HYBRID bike I need?

9. How do I know what size ROAD bike I need?
