The original Mess bike re-designed for pure speed. Same frame, same wheels, same geometry, but Tribe added the baddest track crankset - the SRAM Omnium - along with the external cup, GXP bottom bracket to the build. The upgrade costs only $100 more, saving Tribe's customers hundreds of dollars if they were to purchase those parts and assembly them separately. If you want speed, go premium.
Tribe Bicycle Co.'s Messenger series bikes were designed in collaboration with the real road warriors, bike messengers of NYC.
