When can I pick up my rental bike?
Between Wednesday 9/17/25 and Saturday 9/20/25
Does renting a bike get me a free ticket to the TA Century?
No, You still need to buy your ticket to the TA Century.
Where can I pick up my rental bike? From any of our 3 stores!
- Chelsea (Manhattan) 228 7th Avenue NY, NY 10011(Closest to start & finish, Chelsea will also stay open till 8pm on 9/21/25 to accommodate late rental returns.)

What bikes are available and what are the prices? Do I need to pay a deposit?
We rent aluminum Hybrids (Trek FX) for $100, Aluminum Road bikes for $160, and Carbon Road Bikes for $300. We do take a deposit - Hybrid deposit is $400, Aluminum road is $1000, Carbon road is $2200.
When I finish the ride where can I drop the bikes off?
You can return the bike to any of our 3 locations, but if you're able to return it to the location you picked up from that will expedite the return of your deposit. Rentals are due back by the end of the day (7pm) Monday 9/22/25.
Why wouldn't I get all of my deposit back?
The number one reason you wouldn’t get your deposit back is if you fail to return the bike,
or if you return it with significant damage.
What do I need to wear for the ride?
A helmet is a must! We do provide helmets with rentals. We also recommend using padded bike shorts or athletic shorts. Also, any athletic shirt will do, but we hear that the official NYC Century bike tour t-shirt will be really cool!! Sunglasses, hydration, and a bag for snacks/essentials are great to have - we have plenty of options for purchase.
Do I need to bring pedals?
If you'd like to ride with clipless pedals and shoes, please bring your own. We do not offer rentals of either. We do provide basic platform pedals.
How do I know what Size HYBRID bike I need?
If you're 4'10-5'2, XS, 5'1-5'5 S, 5'4-5'10 M, 5'8-6'1 L, 6'-6'3 XL, 6'4+ XXL If you have any questions about sizing please feel free to call one of the stores, or stop by and we can help.
How do I know what size ROAD bike I need?
If you're 5'-5'2 47cm, 5'2-4 50cm, 5'4-6 52cm, 5'6-9 54cm, 5'8-10 56cm, 5'10-6' 58cm, 6'1-3 60cm. If you have any questions about sizing please feel free to call one of the stores, or stop by and we can help.
