Class begins 5/15/2025 Class is held on Thursdays at 7:15pm. Subsequent classes: 5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/12, 6/19 This course covers more thorough bike maintenance knowledge, detailing the different parts of a bicycle and how the parts work together. Class size is limited to six students, assuring everyone a place to work and get dirty. Classes meet once per week for six weeks; each session is two hours. Week 1 - Introduction to the course, flat repair and drivetrain basics. Week 2 - Drivetrain, gears, shifters, etc. Introduction to brakes. Week 3 - Brakes continued, wheel truing. Week 4 - Introduction to hubs and bearing surfaces, including headsets. Week 5 - Introduction to Bottom brackets, and cranksets. Week 6 - A chance to ask questions not covered, and to bring in your own bike to practice what you've learned with the guidance of your instructor at your side. The Willworx ‘CONNECTORS’ allows the individual Superstands to be connected in an unlimited number of configurations to suit every bicycle shop layout, size, and display area. They can be staggered to the right or left, side by side, back to back, etc. Some of the configurations are shown here. The CONNECTORS also allow the Superstands to be adjusted closer or further apart, as required for some bicycles with wider handlebars, or to position the bicycles closer where minimum floor space is available. Parking the bicycle with the rear wheel and staggered allows more bicycles to be on display.
