- Great Value For The
Courtney was a terrific teacher; she covered so many key areas of the bike and really explained things in detail and in a very clear and understandable way. The small class size was perfect for being able to ask questions, get to know each other and to practice on the bikes. Being able to bring in our own bikes at the end and work on our own projects was fantastic. I feel really empowered and knowlegable about my bike and don't think anyone should ride any distance without taking this class.
The 6-week intensive bike repair class with Arnold was great. He is a patient and enthusiastic teacher. I left each class knowing more about bike mechanics and can now confidently do most basic repairs myself. I highly recommend this course.
I recently took the 6 week intensive repair class with Arnold in Park Slope. Coming in, I was hoping to get a little more comfortable with basic maintenance, my prior experience extended to awkwardly changing a flat. I got way more than I anticipated! Arnold's methods provided the perfect level of detail, and I had the opportunity to do multiple work sessions on my own bike. By the end I had personally replaced all cables on my bike and installed a new shifting mechanism. I can't recommend Arnold and his class highly enough if you're interested in bike repair. We were busy for all 6 weeks and I have a new level of confidence with my riding.
